Prototyping & handover
Informed by my wireframe analysis and component audit, I developed an in-depth prototype that captured the nuances of the user journey. Recognising the value of collaboration, I maintained regular catch-ups with stakeholders, developers, and QA teams. These discussions ensured the design was not only realistic but also encompassed all scenarios drawn from our collective past experiences. Following thorough reviews and refinements, I facilitated a seamless handover to the development team, emphasising clarity and ensuring alignment with both technical requirements and business goals.
Post-prototyping and design system
I embarked on refining and expanding our design system. I meticulously organised and introduced variations to components originating from the page-level prototype, ensuring scalability and consistency. Collaborating closely with the marketing team and leadership was instrumental in our brand's refreshment journey. Together, we deliberated and finalised a new colour palette that not only resonated with the brand's vision but also excelled across all breakpoints. Through rigorous usability testing, I validated that our choices enhanced user experience, paving the way for a harmonious and effective digital presence.
Presenting at GoSee's Town Hall
I had the opportunity to present my work at GoSee's town hall, where I showcased the React work for Motorhome Republic to all employees, including senior leadership. This presentation highlighted the significant improvements and efficiencies gained from our React implementation, demonstrating our commitment to innovation and excellence. It was an excellent platform to share insights, gather feedback, and align our team's efforts with the broader organisational goals.
